## About

Senior engineer and architect with over ten years of building reliable production systems. Through my company DJN Consulting AB I take on consulting engagements in Rust, TypeScript and React, and build and run my own products from architecture to production. Since 2025 much of that work has been AI: LLM agents and MCP servers working on real data, with access control and user confirmation where it matters. I use AI tools daily in my own work and know where they help and where they need clear limits. I like sharing what I learn, e.g. brown bags on GraphQL (Sogeti) and blockchain (Cygni) and a co-hosted session on presentation technique (Cygni).

My core stack is Rust (Axum, Tokio) and TypeScript (Node.js, Bun, NestJS) on the backend and React/Next.js on the frontend, with PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Kafka and event-driven architectures. I have delivered for Audi AG (Apollo Federation, Kafka-based cache invalidation), Mobilaris (real-time positioning over MQTT in mining), the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and Boliden.

Available for consulting engagements (own company, Swedish F-tax certified) or employment – remote or hybrid (Luleå / EU).

## Experience

### DJN Consulting AB (2025 – Present)

*Founder, Architect & Engineer — AI-driven systems (Rust, TypeScript) · Own company · consulting engagements and self-built production systems · Luleå / Remote · F-tax certified*

My own consulting and product company, taking engagements and delivering its own production systems end-to-end – from architecture and a Rust backend with LLM agents and MCP to React frontends, Kubernetes operations and CI/CD. The products are live and maintained with minimal effort – I'm available full-time for engagements.

Technologies: Rust, TypeScript, Axum, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, MCP, Anthropic Claude, React, Kubernetes, Docker

**Own products (production-grade)**

#### Eir – health coach for AI assistants (2026)
MCP server that lets Claude coach a person using their Garmin and Withings data (sleep, HRV, training, body composition) together with their own daily check-ins and habits. Built end-to-end: Rust API, web app and Android app. In daily use by real users.
Technologies: Rust, Axum, MCP, MCP Apps, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, React, React Native, IAM/RBAC, Docker
- Built an MCP App: the daily habit check-in opens as a small interactive form right in the Claude chat, instead of a back-and-forth in text
- Garmin/Withings logins are encrypted with a key derived from the user's passphrase, which the server never stores; credentials are entered in the app, never in the chat
- Reads Garmin and Withings live without storing the measurements; only what the user writes is saved

#### Pratbok – AI-driven accounting SaaS (2025 – 2026)
Bookkeeping SaaS for Swedish small businesses with an AI assistant that reads, analyzes and books through typed tools. Rust backend (Axum, async-graphql, SQLx); authentication and authorization (domain-scoped RBAC) are split into a dedicated Rust IAM service for security. Live (invite only).
Technologies: Rust, Axum, async-graphql, SQLx, PostgreSQL, Redis, MCP (rmcp), rig, Anthropic Claude, TypeScript, React 19, Stripe
- Built an LLM agent and an MCP server in Rust with typed tools for the general ledger, journal entries, bank reconciliation, balance sheet and income statement, per diem and driving logs
- Production guardrails: tools scoped per company and user, opaque references instead of database IDs exposed to the model, rate limiting and token tracking – and write actions (e.g. booking mileage allowance) require user confirmation
- Built IAM as an isolated authentication service in Rust (domain-scoped RBAC, OAuth, SDK packages for TypeScript and Rust) – auth separated from the application for security
- Testable AI integration: mocked LLM client for deterministic tests and integration tests for the MCP tools

#### Dúfa – Dive Site App (2025)
Rust GraphQL API and React SSR frontend for dive sites, with S3-based photo storage. The MCP server lets AI assistants search dive sites, calculate gas blends and maintain site data – write access requires domain permissions.
Technologies: Rust, Axum, Python, React, Vite, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, MCP, S3, Redis, Docker

#### Own hosting platform (Kubernetes, IAM, GitOps) (2025 – 2026)
The platform all my products run on: Kubernetes (k3s) on my own VPS with GitOps, where every new app gets shared IAM login and permissions, error tracking, analytics and automated deploys from day one. Ops run through chat: my own MCP server and Telegram bot with a Claude agent that alerts on outages and new errors.
Technologies: Kubernetes, k3s, ArgoCD, Kustomize, cert-manager, ingress-nginx, Sealed Secrets, minikube, Rust, MCP, PostgreSQL, Redis, MinIO, MQTT, GlitchTip, Umami, GitHub Actions
