Who is responsible

Web analytics

Visits are measured with a self-hosted analytics tool. Analytics is cookieless and aggregate: page, referrer, approximate device/browser and country. No tracking cookies are set, your full IP address is not stored, and there is no cross-site tracking or profiling.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in understanding how the site is used. Analytics data is kept only as long as needed to understand how the site is used.

Personally shared links

If you follow a link of the form danielnystrom.se/r/… that was shared with you personally, the server records an anonymous analytics event (the link's label and the referring page) before redirecting you. As with all analytics here it is cookieless and your IP address is not stored — it only shows whether a shared link was opened, not who you are.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in knowing whether personally shared links are used. No personal data is retained.

Error monitoring

If enabled, technical errors are reported to a self-hosted Sentry instance operated by DJN Consulting AB within the EU/EEA, without personal identifiers (default PII collection is turned off), to keep the site working. Error events are deleted within 90 days.

Preferences

Your language and theme choices are stored in your browser (a first-party language cookie and theme in local storage) solely to remember your preference. They are strictly functional and are not used for tracking.

Recipients and location

Data is processed on self-hosted infrastructure operated by DJN Consulting AB — analytics and a Sentry error-monitoring instance — entirely within the EU/EEA. Fonts are served from this site's own origin, so no data is sent to third-party content networks. Data is never sold or shared with advertisers.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. To exercise any of these, email hej@danielnystrom.se.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.

Browsers that send a Do Not Track signal are excluded from analytics automatically. You can also disable analytics in this browser here:
